But they are pretty small, larger than mini-muffins, but smaller than any other muffin I have ever seen. Also, this silicone seems thinner than other pans I have and just a bit less "non-stick." It makes for easier folding, but also distorts the muffins a bit when you remove them from the pan. My grandkids LOVE the little muffins.

(More customer reviews)This pan worked great for my brownies. The veins showed up without any extra effort. Nothing stuck to any of the edges. You should test your cooking time for your recipie. It will take a longer time for the pan to cool so if you are making a second batch work that into your time schedule.

Hot Pink Foil Cupcake Muffin Baking Cups 50 count Review

The downside to this- the pink coloring ended up baked into my pans and now there are pink marks on them. It's not that big of a deal, but I wasn't too happy about it.

(More customer reviews)For years I have tried to make popovers and failed miserably. Recently I saw popovers featured on the cooking network. They were reviewing the popovers served at the famous BTL Steakhouse Restaurants where these popovers are served at the table with a recipe card. I was able to get the recipe off of the Internet. The only difference is on TV they said to fill the popover pans full not 3/4 as shown in the recipe. I do fill the pans to full. I ordered these commercial grade popover pans and am THRILLED with the results. The heat circulates around the individual cups and the non-stick finish allows the popovers to slide right out. My husband was sick on his birthday so I made him matzo ball soup and popovers and he said it was the best birthday ever. I can't rave enough about these pans and the terrific recipe. After years of failure, the price of decent quality popover pans is worth every penny.

(More customer reviews)If you have read my other reviews for silicone bakeware, you know that I use them as soap molds and not for baking. I like these molds--the snowmen and gingerbread men are especially cute and make great holiday gift and guest soaps. The silicone is more flexible than some brands, so the soap comes out very easily (I still like to freeze it a few hours before removing to prevent any details from getting smudged).
The only real drawback about these molds is that they don't nest well inside each other--they just stack on top of each other. This is only an issue if you get more than one of the same shape. With Wilton Brand silicone, if you get several of the same mold they tuck down inside each other very well and take up less space to store. These don't offer that benefit. I know with silicone you are supposed to be able to scrunch them up to store and they will pop right back into shape for use, but I haven't tried that--maybe it is a viable option.
I must admit to sticker shock, seeing the price listed here. I purchased these molds a couple of years ago at Target and Kmart stores for between $2 and $3 dollars a piece, and I know they are available as a set elsewhere on the web for less than half the $25 price listed when I wrote this review. So my 4 star rating is for the molds, not for the pricing.

Norpro Stainless Steel Scoop, 50mm (3-Tablespoon) Review

(More customer reviews)Finally, an ice cream scoop that gets the ice cream out of its container AND then out of the scoop into the dish. Sounds like a no-brainer, right? Should be -- but this is the first scoop design I've ever used that managed both with equal ease. Most of the old-fashioned ones had a release mechanism that got the ice cream into the dish pretty well, but needed tons of hot water and the strength of 10 men and a boy to get the goodie out of its native container. More recent versions have made the container-to-scoop process less of a herculean task, but need the assistance of finger or other appendage to make it the rest of the way to the bowl.
This delightful object has solved both problems. In addition, it's a God-send for baking cookies. I operate a virtual cookie factory every Christmas and have tried many techniques to speed the dough-to-baking pan transfer. Last year, I saw this scoop and its smaller (2 teaspoon) sibling at a kitchen supply place and purchased both. I was able to bang through all my drop cookies in record time -- hurrah!
Whether ice cream or cookie baking is your passion, I can't think of a better way to spend 10 bucks!

While I already have two sheet pans from a different manufacturer, I can tell that I'm going to like this one better. Update: I've now had the sheet pan for over a month and it still has not shown any discoloration. I also purchased the rack that was recommended, and the two items together work wonderfully. I would definitely recommend this sheet pan over others.

I do wish they were bigger in size but to have all the characters on one is really great. The kids love picking out which ones they want and ate more then they normally would have eaten. I can't wait to try cooking other things in this like the brownies. I thought they cooked really fast if set on the high (4) setting. It is very easy to clean and love they include a little scoop to help put the batter into the character molds. Highly recommend for any Disney fan.

(More customer reviews)I personally haven't heard a peep about SilverStone in ages, and frankly, when I bought this item, I didn't even realize it was made by them. I needed new muffin pans, so I just looked for the best deal, price-wise. I saw this set, and figured it was as good as any.
When I received them, I was ecstatic. When you think of something relatively trivial like this, you don't really expect much in the way of quality, but man, was I wrong! These things are weighty, very well constructed, and have durable written all over them. I consider it a huge upgrade from my old, flimsy no-name tins, and I highly recommend them for anyone who, like me, bakes a lot and really just doesn't want to worry about replacing these kinds of things too often.

The nonstick surface of our muffin (or cupcake) pan makes paper baking cups optional and cleanup easy. (cleanup is more of a consideration in a muffin pan than many other bakeware pieces as it is really twelve little pans in one - if you choose only one pan with nonstick, let it be the muffin pan.) (More customer reviews)Nordic Ware discontinued the regular version of this mini bundt pan - you won't find it anywhere - but this one, tho expensive, is even better! It's commercial quality thru and thru, so you won't be seeing the nonstick coating wearing thin, for instance. We literally wore out the lighter version, but such sticker shock when we saw this one! Do not hesitate like we did - it is well worth the price and the seller (BakeDeco) is just great - very helpful, ships promptly, packs it well, no damage.
One thing, tho, we notice this pan is hotter than the old, thinner Nordic Ware one, so adjust your oven temp down and watch the cakes, the first time you use it. Ours baked a lot faster. This pan would be an excellent gift because of it's quality.
We heat the pan while the oven is heating and spray the HOT pan well with olive oil spray - Mothers is best we ever found - MOTHER'S Olive Oil Pan Coating , 6-Ounce Units (Pack of 4) - heating the pan first opens its pores and makes it truly nonstick. (In fact, pan release spray seldom works on a cold pan, even a skillet should be heated first.)
Then spoon 1/2 cup of batter into each mold and bake as usual. (We use 350 degrees for 22 minutes.)
After you dump out the cakes, slide the HOT pan into a sink of soapy water to soak a few minutes. Then just BRUSH OUT each mold with a soft brush. (NEVER SCRUB!) The PERFECT brush for this is: Way Clean 33030 Bottle Brush!! LAST, set the pan in the still warm oven to DRY for the next time. So easy!
BTW if you nest these pans when they are not clean, gunk gets shoved up into the center stem, which then has to be removed with Qtips, or it burns and smells when you bake. So, don't nest them unless clean and dry.
