(More customer reviews)I am not certain the reason the other reviewer had issues with sticking, when my madeleines pop right out, even before cooling. In this aspect, the pan works beautifully - all the advantages of silicone become apparent when nothing sticks, and any residue left on the pan floats away after soaking the pan in hot water for 5 minutes.
However, I do have one complaint regarding this pan - the seashell cast is not precise enough to make a clearly moulded seashell cookie. Rather, my cookies came out in the vague seashell shape, with several barely distinct lines where the design should be (see picture). The cookie in the picture posted by Freshware must have been prepared using a different (maybe metal?) pan with deeper line indentations.
Overall, I am not too disappointed, although I probably will not order a second pan, as I was planning originally.
