(More customer reviews)When I got this in the mail, all I could think was wow! What an adorable little pan! I loved it! Then I tucked it away in the recesses of our cabinets and there it sat for a while with all my other pans I've been buying lately. Tonight I busted it out, and I mixed up a cake batter, sprayed the cavities thoroughly, and poured in my batter. 20 minutes later, I took them out of the oven, and let them cool completely. Up until this point, everything has gone great. Then it went downhill.
When I attempted to remove the little cakes from the pan, the best I could get was about 3/4 of the cake out intact. I tried flipping the pan over and pushing them out upside down onto a solid surface, and I tried gently popping them up from underneath. Neither produced good results, so all I can figure is while these might be great for actual bread with a tougher, non-crummy/super moist dough, or maybe for small bite sized brownies, providing they are let to cool completely before trying to take them out of the pan so they don't get demolished.
It is a breeze to clean up afterwards.
I may update this review later after I try baking other things in it, but for now, it gets 4 out of 5. I'm not docking it further because the description does say "loaf pan" not cupcake pan.
